A long time ago, I was introduced to IRC and I realized after a while that there were some weird "people" on there responding to messages like !weather and instantaneously sent back the current weather condition for example. I couldn't care less what the weather was right now, but wow was I impressed when I understood that this all was automated and that the person was not actually a person but a bot. Automating things really spoke to me, and off I was to create my very first little IRC-bot (which got hacked a few days later and people got really mad). I really enjoyed seeing how I could use a bit of logic and effort to automate repetitive or boring tasks.

After many other similar encounters like the IRC-bot, I ended up building a lot of web pages/applications during my spare time and here I am, still building, with focus on modern frontend applications. I love how fast the community is moving forward and eager to see what waits around the corner in the javascript world. I'm looking forward to taking my skill to the next level as a frontend developer here at tretton37.

When I'm not working I like to spend time with my daughter, watch a good movie with my wife, or working on the next hit on App Store.
