Region Skåne is a government institution responsible for social and medical care, public transport, business sector development, culture, infrastructure, social planning as well as environmental and climate issues in Skåne, the southern part of Sweden.
Region Skåne wanted to improve their digital systems to improve preventative care for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes at their medical centers. They needed an integrated system that would save time for staff at health centers while also ensuring minimal errors. The primary challenge was to digitize the sending of links to health surveys and make the system more user-friendly so that medical centers could spend more time with their patients and less time in front of the computer.
tretton37 worked closely with the medical staff and internal IT department to fully understand their challenges and wishes. After analyzing the situation, tretton37 concluded that integration and automation were big factors for success. We integrated the client's system with 1177 to digitize the sending of links to health surveys, and reduced a six-page manual process into a single button click. This provided time savings to the health centers and the public. We also focused on making the product more user-friendly so that medical centers could spend more time with their patients and less time performing repetitive administrative tasks.
tretton37's solution provided significant benefits both for Region Skåne and for the public. We saved time for staff at health centers, minimized the risk of errors, and made the system more user-friendly. The integration with 1177 has also prepared the client for future integrations with other systems as the technology in this sector evolves. This solution was completed in just three months and is well-documented for any future developers.
