I’ve always liked making and tinkering with things. In the early 90’s, I got my first computer and discovered the web. I soon realized that I could create websites simply by writing text adhering to the rules of some language called HTML. I would make sites for friends and family, creating awesome designs using tables and invisible gifs - a practice which wasn’t yet deemed a criminal offense.
Since those early years of the web, I’ve learned that delivering good software is about much more than just the look and feel. Today, I’m passionate about writing good code, and about improving my craft. The great thing about being a developer is that there is always more to learn. I like reading books and trying new languages and tools. In my spare time, I tend to do some hobby-project, preferably in the company of friends. I’m always up for an evening of coding! The rest of my time is spent with my lovely girlfriend and two kids.
