David Beljan 🇸🇮 Ljubljana
As a kid, you would find me between my dad’s garage workshop and the tree canopies in the local forest. There were just a few (still working) appliances in the house that I didn’t take apart yet, always in search of something new, something I haven’t seen before. I managed to touch live 220V wires four times, before the age of 5, which just shows my still present love for electrons.
During my software development career, I wore a lot of hats, from a visual designer, .psd to HTML converter, to a front-end developer and a team leader. The majority of the work I’ve done was for early-stage startups, trying to transform the founder’s dreams into code and make their users happy while also thinking about scaling. I like to think of myself as pragmatic, curious, and empathic.
When not in front of a computer screen, you can find me on a road or mountain bike, flying drones, playing mechanic on my 98 Suzuki Samurai, or preparing a delicious Pad Kee Mao.
