Back in 1997, Windows 95 and Notepad was all you needed to create the perfect homepage – and it was the year I found out that computers can be used for more than just games. It was the golden age of GIF-animations and MIDI sounds. Yes, my first homepage had the classic "under construction" animation and, not to forget, a background featuring different berries.
I never became a designer, instead I cultivated a passion for back-end development. I find it compelling to work with the things no one sees. Besides this passion for back-end development, I find joy in automation, clean code and IoT. I also truly believe that testing should be a vital part of most developers tool belt.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my partner, travelling and cycling. I also like taking photos from time to time, and learning about new exciting technologies.
