Since my childhood my interest was focused to find out what makes the world tick and how things work. Of course, sometimes that included breaking into things just to see what makes them run. :)
So, when I got my first computer, at the age of 10, programming was a natural extension of my never-ending search for understanding. And from those beginings I went full circle, from solo programming on simple and small apps, over system architecture to running international teams and business units. In the process I found my call, and that is to get things done, from all aspects. My perfect day, at work, is when we deliver the functionality that the customer needs, by the team that delivers with routine, confidence, saving world in the process.
My perfect day, when I am not working, includes biking, skiing or hiking around, exploring new places, or reading, which is exploration of a different kind.
