I wrote my first program when I was about 10 years old - a hideous calculator - using Easy AMOS on my Amiga 500. It had psychedelic moving gradients as a background and would probably give most people an epileptic seizure. I was super proud though, it even had π so it could calculate circle circumferences!

I started making websites for friends and family in the early 2000s, when you had to use unspeakable CSS hacks and IE6 was the hottest browser around. I’ve kept developing for the web and really like its unique constraints and strengths. That feeling when real people use and abuse your site is fantastic!

Me and my wife live on a farm with some animals and our two kids. When I have time for exercising I like to hit the trails with my mountain bike.
